Our Cast
Bill Anholzer
Caption Editor
Bill was born and raised in Appleton, Wisconsin, a city steeped in communist witch hunt history. He attended the University of Minnesota and came out waving a strategic communications degree from the School of Journalism. It's been over three years, but he plans to hang it up one day. He really does.
Bill has been working at CaptionMax long enough to justifiably round up to three years. He stepped in as a wide-eyed and innocent editor, eager to make peace with "harmless" grammar slights. But time has embittered him. His goal now is the total annihilation of the comma splice, the misused hyphen, and all their friends. One day, appropriate punctuation will take its rightful place on the throne of language.
To achieve these goals, Bill starts small by pointing out errors in closed captioning–not by CaptionMax, of course–to whoever will listen. As you can imagine, he's quite popular. Who doesn't want to have an impromptu English lesson on a Saturday night?
When he's not editing everything he reads, he can usually be found playing video games or enjoying a book or watching TV. He works the swing shift. He doesn't get out much.
