Hi, I'm Morgan.

I grew up in Shreveport, LA, then went to Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, where I earned my degree in English (Creative Writing). During college I studied abroad at St. John's in Oxford for about six weeks, and after college I moved to L.A. for a year and a half, then went to Austin, TX, for a year, then came back to L.A. in September of 2008. I now live in the glorious hills of Silver Lake with my scruffy, adorable dog Lily and a roommate and two cats.

Some things that I love are: records, cassettes, and CDs; baking; sauces and condiments; the La Brea tar pits; Griffith Park; books and crazy bookstores with books stacked all over the place; New Orleans cemeteries; Tony Chachere's; scrambled egg white creations; red bell peppers; not camping; Raiford's in Memphis; Space Mountain; corn tortillas; holidays and celebrations; and brightly-colored tennis shoes.
