CaptionMax is delighted to be doing both closed captioning and video description for Growing Up Fisher, a brand-new comedy from NBC starring TV veterans J.K. Simmons and Jenna Elfman. ┬áSimmons and Elfman play parents who are getting divorced. And while the theme of a newly divorced dad endeavoring to be there for his kids might not be groundbreaking on its own, Simmons’ character, Mel Fisher, is blind and making his way through life with his new guide dog, Elvis. The story is told through the perspective of Mel’s son, Henry, which is narrated by Jason Bateman of Arrested Development fame.

We are excited to see what this show has to offer and to have the opportunity to contribute our top-notch closed captions and video description to make it accessible to every audience. Tune in for a special preview on Sunday, February 23 after the Olympics. The official premiere is Tuesday, February 25 at 9:30/8:30 CST on NBC.
