Not only do we have the best captioning and description staff in the business, but our employees are folks with many talents, ranging from backcountry canoeing to standup comedy to headlining a rock band. Soon we will be showcasing these talents and other aspects of CaptionMax in a revamped “Max Channel” section of our website.

The FCC recently released a “Declaratory Ruling” on closed captioning requirements. This ruling is significant because it clears up misperceptions companies or individuals may have had regarding obligations to caption programs in certain types of situations.

It is also significant because it shows that the FCC does actually listen to appeals from the public.
