Offline and realtime captioning services
Offline closed captions
are best for taped programs because they are perfectly timed and include every spoken word, sound effect (thunder) and tone of voice (cheerful).
Realtime captioning
is for live programs or programs produced very close to air. An experienced stenographer adds live captions at the time of broadcast.
